WHAT ARE THE KEY FEATURES OF CRUSAFE?

AND CruSafe’s primary applications are within the following areas:-
  • PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT- Providing control and tracking of personnel as they arrive and move around the site, particularly in hazardous areas, by use of identity cards and card readers
  • TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT- Logging incoming and outgoing transport and production of manifests
  • INCIDENT MANAGEMENT- Speedy verification of personnel at muster points during incidents (genuine or trial)
  • ACCOMMODATION MANAGEMENT- Cabin and bunk allocation and management and lifeboat allocation in advance of the arrival of crew onboard

Other principal features of CruSafe are:-

Enhanced monitoring and information
  • As well as use of the card readers, personnel monitoring can be supplemented by CCTV, particularly in hazardous areas.
  • Key safety messages and information can be relayed via Information Panels at key points as well as via the Public Address System (optional)
  • Personnel details registered in advance of arrival also include shift patterns and anticipated period of time to be spent on board.
  • Can also include Next of Kin information, and certification validity
  • Personnel details and flight information can be imported from Vantage and DaWinci at pre-determined intervals.
  • Remote monitoring, real time POB information can be viewed from a remote location, for example on shore (subject to network connectivity).
Improved administration at reduced cost
  • Computers at various locations, (for example on the bridge, in the radio control room and at the helicopter admin points and the serviced installation) allow immediate access to all administrative detail and muster lists or manifests, greatly reducing administration costs and improving efficiency.
  • Can interface directly with ‘Vantage’ (optional).
Protection of personnel details
  • Personnel information is password protected.
  • Unique reference numbers for personnel are simple to allocate, re-use and update in the event of lost cards. The system automatically sets the card number to zero when the individual leaves the site.
Using displays during incidents
Mustering and RollCall displays- At any time during a real or trial incident, key real-time information is available regarding:-
  • RollCall display showing who has mustered at a given point in time
  • Muster Overview display showing headcount information on how many have mustered, not mustered, or mustered at the wrong location
  • Lifeboat display showing detail of who has mustered at each lifeboat, not mustered and mustered incorrectly
  • Total POB at all locations
Reporting
At a single click, managers can produce a range of reports including:-
  • Muster reports listing either those present or those not accounted for
  • Roll-call lists of those on site or within a specified area
  • Daily POB report with separate analysis of Marine crew and Non-marine crew, date of arrival and departure
  • History of arrivals/departures (parameters are user-defined)
  • Alphabetical cabin lists according to name / occupier
  • Personnel movement log, allows the user to track the movements of an individual(s) during an incident or specified time period
POB Exceedence Alerts
CruSafe stores the personnel capacity of the various areas around the site. As limits are approached and reached,
alerts are given via:-
  • Audible / visual signals at PC stations, and
  • Audible / Visual signals using traffic light displays at the gangways (CruSafe can support two gangway systems with their own unique set of attributes in the system)
Creating Manifests
  • Manifests are created for each flight/boat leaving or arriving at the site. As well as providing analysis of cargo, passenger and luggage volumes and weights, arrival flight manifests incorporate the allocation of cabins and bunks, lifeboats and proximity card numbers, improving efficiency by allowing these allocations to be carried out in advance of the arrival of personnel.
